Elementary School District 159 is in the process of migrating to a new student information system. The online registration system is a part of the migration process. As soon as the registration module has been migrated and tested, we will announce when online registration will open. Continue to visit the districts website for updates.
The Colin Powell Middle School 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony, which will take place on Monday, May 24th at 6PM, the event will be live-streamed. Summer School begins on Wednesday, June 2nd and will be held from 8:40 am until 12:30 pm (K-5th) and 8:00 am until 11:50 am (6th–8th) on Monday-Thursday. Summer School will end on Wednesday, June 30th.
Pre School For All Screenings are scheduled for June 1-3, 2021, at WG! Families will have the opportunity to schedule an appointment with our Staff, following all safety protocols due to Covid-19.
CPMS NJHS Mental Health Group is dedicated to combat mental illnesses within the youth of our community. Spreading love and showing empathy to the young generation today, will help them become emotionally aware and cultivate our leaders of tomorrow.
The National Junior Honor Society Virtual Induction Ceremony was held live on May 4, 2021 and virtually on May 11, 2021. Please click the link to watch the virtual ceremony.
Beginning April 26th – May 6th , students in Grades 3-8 will be participating in the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR). The purpose of this assessment is to determine your child’s level of achievement in areas such as English language arts and mathematics. Click on link for additional information.
